And just a few points about the transfer at MAN - she'll be arriving into T2 and her BMI flight will depart from T3, unfortunately this is the longest connection you can do at MAN. There is an elevated walkway joining all 3 terminals so it's easy to navigate and well signposted, but the walk does take 15 - 20 minutes. There's no airside transfer or shuttle bus (that I know of anyway - I'm at MAN this evening so will ask).

She'll need to go through security at T3. At peak times (Monday am, Thurs evenings etc.) this can take over half an hour and unfortunately only BA have a priority lane. If flying at non-peak time you can be through in under 10 minutes.

There is a BMI lounge in T3, she will have access if her BD flight is booked in full fare economy (Y) or has a *G card or BMI Silver card. Not sure if she would get in by showing her arriving SQ biz boarding pass, but I suspect not. The lounge is nothing to write home about (and pretty dire compared to NZ lounges), a few dry packaged snacks and a selection of drinks. If she has a *G card she will be able to use the Diamond Club section, which is exactly the same except it has a few more snacks (cheese, crackers, olives) but usually seems more crowded than the main lounge. Still slightly better than sitting in the terminal and the lounge staff are friendly and can help with the usual seat changes etc.

BMI is buy-on-board - but they have a good selection and prices are ok. BMI Golds, Silvers and Blue+ members get free food, this doesn't extend to Star Golds (although about 3 - 4 ask every flight). Not that it really matters on such a short flight . Views in to GLA can be nice so recommend a window seat.

Cheers, Zac
