So there is always one locomotive? And it always pulls on the way down? That's good to know ^

If I understand correctly my ticket won't have a seat number, so I'll just grab a seat I like? Unless the attendents are assigning them when I board. Sounds good.

What time does the train start boarding?

Once I get going, is there an observation car? Dining car? Or is this run too short.

I did assign my AGR number when I made the reservation so it should be all good; I just don't have a card to swipe in the QuikTrak machine. Sounds like that won't be an issue.

I am arriving via the Red Line, I have been through Union Station several times, and even picked someone up from the Amtrak before, I am familiar with it.

Looks like I'll plan on arriving about 45 min before departure, Unions Station isn't a bad place to hang out anyway
