Haven't people learned that they can use their ATM cards oveseas yet?
there are cases when ATM will give you only 200 euros but you pay 3-4 euros to the bank and US$5 to your US home bank which makes the whole transaction not worthwhile.
I find that many times, going into a large bank and changing cash or using my credit card is a much better bet.
