Not sure how you calculate for Bali.

With points you get the lowest room category, and probably not even an Ambassador upgrade (should you bee one). If planning a bit ahead, you should be able to get this room for around US$200 per night (including tax), so 12 nights are $2400 or £1200.

On the other hand, 500k PC points are also 100 nights at the PointBreak rate, so if you can find hotels offering that rate you easily end up with a value of $10000 (£5000).
