Me & the Mrs are planning to go to Cyprus next year in J. Looking at the options, dates in June offer up fares of £300 from LGW-Pahos versus £500 LHR-Larnaca. Destination airport is not so important, so I'm wondering:

- do the routes use different metal?
- how does inflight CE compare ex-LGW versus ex-LHR?
- is it worth the extra £200 to avoid LGW?
