Well, I just checked into PBI and they wanted to charge me for the 2nd bag....and I AM Elite. I even called Airtran last night to make certain it would be ok, and they said, yes, because I am elite, I would not have to pay the 2nd bag fee. I go to check in and the lady behind the counter had no clue what I was talking about. She went into the back, came out about 5 minutes later and said that she couldn't get ahold of anyone to find out if that was true or not. You mean to tell me nobody had asked her that question since this was implemented???
She was proceeding to charge me the $20 fee and I told her I would just condense into the one. She said that she would charge me, offer me the receipt, and then when I get back could submit it and that they might reimburse me. Sorry, that isn't how it works. Get your communication right first.
