Hi , New to being MVP Gold. I've tried searching here but couldn't come up with the right answer. I bought a mileage ticket with Delta miles on Alaska YVR-LAX. Called in to Alaska and was told I couldn't add my mileage number to the ticket for premium benefits. So I went online and did it myself, no problem. I then checked out Alaska's Mileage page which states that MVP Golds get a complimentary upgrade on all fares (other than Y,S,B,M,H,Value & Full Flex) 72 hours prior to departure. This would seem to include reward tickets, which are W class. Yet when I called in to Alaska, they said there would be no upgrade on these. Can someone explain to me what the actual policy is?
