I've used the clear plastic Hartmann cover on my 27 inch Hartmann suitcase for quite some time and love it. They are sized to perfectly fit the Hartmann bags. I have a TSA lock on the actual suitcase (underneath the cover) and just zip the cover around. Never had a problem and I'm always surprised at the amount of crud, scratches, etc. that the cover has intercepted!
