Car seat also

Don't forget to get to the gate a little earlier than normal so you can gate check the stroller, the first time we went w/o and that was a pain, also you can ask the check in person if it is a full flight because if not I think the car seat can be used w/o paying, similar to COS policy.

Also you don't need to bring the original birth certificate a copy is fine. I make a copy and put on in every bag including the diaper bag, it comes in handy when checking in because whatever bag is on top has the document.

Also at airports that have a self service line and an other line, you need the other line.

We also found that seating in row 1 with the bulkhead is a big help as you can put your foot up as you hold the baby. DD has flown 2 rt and she is only 6mos.

Also, if the flight is not busy ask the FA for a certificate, my wife really liked it for the scrapbook.
