Huh, so lots of folks have actually SEEN the breakfast bags?

I thought they were largely hypothetical. I probably stay at HI 10X per year and honestly the number of times I've seen bags waiting for the taking is probably <25% of total nights. For the most part I don't care, the breakfast is acceptable (enough) and I almost always have time to sit down for 15 minutes and eat it properly.

My last HI stay in Richardson TX though I hit the checkout desk at 6:15AM on a Thursday hoping for a bag. Was told "we're all out, lot's of early check-out's today and we only make a fixed amount every day". I had a mild argument with the desk person who was persistent in his insistence they they were all out, no more to be had.

I suppose I should have invoked the satisfaction guarantee, but I just didn't have time at that moment for a further battle. Haven't been back to that HI though.
