YUL-YYZ was operated on a 777 with a virtually empty J cabin. Was I eligible for an upgrade?
Not that it makes a difference here due to the short flight time, but would be useful to know for international travel.
You are definitely eligible for an upgrade, either confirmed on I availability or standby at the gate. No different than any other latitude fare, only difference is that you lost your confirmed upgrade when you missed your flight. They will probably be looking for another cert, but you can probably convince them otherwise, with your old boarding pass.
