Well, this is true in one regard--Boise is the most isolated city of its size in the continental US (in terms of distance to the next city of equal or greater size). On the other hand, there's plenty to do here. You might be pleasantly surprised

A beautiful river runs right through town. Ski? Only 20 minutes from downtown. Mountains & camping? Less than an hour away. NO SMOG!! LOW CRIME!! We love it.
