I am a HK citizen so for me arriving late is not a problem cos I just go home. I usually maximise my stay in BKK so TG602 is ideal for me. But yes I would travel with a better plane as the time diff is only 3 hrs (TG602 & TG606). Infact I took TG630 a few times as I prefer the A330 + you can get to HK in time to meet someone for dinner.

You do have PTV in C for C & F on the B7442 (all passenger series) but not AVOD. The channels are rubbish (since it's such a short flight) and I usually don't even bother getting them out but choose to read up some paperwork or a magazine.
