Presumably the project (and working flowing from that) is sufficiently lucrative compared to the loss you'll suffer for cancelling the trip.
Probably, the things that annoy us most are the 80 TPs would have given us another year as Silver and 15k airmiles gone.
Have you considered a day trip to (say) JER, AMS, CDG etc to get the required 80 TPs ?
