Shouldn't it be 'tits up' instead of 'belly up'?
Given a choice of the loss of:

a) two CE flights to LCA
b) a weekend in Cyprus
c) GBP 1,000
d) renewed BAEC Silver status

against:

e) your husband's project

I know which choice I'd be making (unless the project is THAT valuable). Either that or go yourself, halving the loss and at least keeping one of you as BAEC Silver.

Come to think of it I'm less than an hour away in CAI; I'll stand in for hubby if you like!
