As far as decor, the Peninsula is colonial elegant and the MO still looks like it's stuck in the late 80s luxe HK, so the Pen wins that.

I think the quality is a little better at the MO (pancakes and waffles anyway), and they have a wider selection (more juices, pastries, fruit, etc) ranging from Western to Chinese. But definitely don't leave the Pen just for breakfast! It's still really good.
