Yes, but things started and ended badly

Booked a standard room and get, got a nice 1 KING BED EXECUTIVE SUITE NILE VIEW with club access)
How are the rooms?
Nicely appointed
Large (1rooms + 2 bathrooms + 1 living room with mini kitchen + 2 minibars)
The decoration is very classic but nice
Minibar is Egyptian-style. Two beers, rest is soft. Snacks, chips and peanuts.
How is the exec. lounge?
Very nicely decorated : good selection of food. Not open bar (you have to ask to be served).
The service is good, but do not expect a welcome when get in
The PC was out of order (I had to insist no to pay at the business centre to have access at Internet, which cost something like EUR15 a hour!!)
What was good and what was bad?
Good
- The lobby was recently renovated and is very nice
- Restaurants are very good
- Location is perfect to discover the centre of the town (just a few meters from the museun)
- The view on the Nile is superb
- Nice pool with great service
Bad
- the reservation was lost when check in (despite I could clearly see it on my Internet Priority Club file)

- The maintenance of the room (when I arrived, the air conditionning in one room was out of order, 2 phones were out of order, and one fridge was not working properly; when I called the manager of duty to solve the problem, it was solved in the minute)
- theres is no taxi line out of the hotel (which wants customers to take the 10 times more expensive limousines): you have to walk a bit to get a decent taxi
- my EUR 220 polo was burned by a cigarette at the pool (a customer threw it from the balcony)
Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
