Ic Citystars Cairo
Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, very much.
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked a standard room on luxury week end rates, got a nice king executive suite with club access (when I asked at the reception if I had access to the lounge, the answer I love to hear was : 'of course, Sir, you are Royal Ambassador!!')
Note that I was supposed to arrive on Friday. But I missed my flight and finaly arrived on Sunday. I called the reception to ask if I could get the same rate with no fees. The manager told me: of course Sir, with no problem!^^
How are the rooms?
Nicely appointed
Large (1rooms + 1 bathroom + 1 seperate toilets + 1 living room with mini kitchen + bar)
The decoration is very classic but nice
Minibar is Egyptian-style. Two beers, rest is soft. Snacks, chips and peanuts.
How is the exec. lounge?
Very nice : good selection of food. Not open bar (you have to ask to be served). Excellent service.
2 PC's with printer
What was good and what was bad?
Good
- Staff was great. Excellent service from the beginning to the end
- Great pool
- Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent (huge selection of products, very high quality of service)
- The limousine is expensive (35 USD for less than 10 kilometers) but great : nice Mercedes, with check-in on board ^(I arrived very lately, and my flight was more than 1.5 hours late; the staff was aware of the delay and was waiting for me at the airport)
Bad
- Location is a bit out of action, but very calm (you need 20 minutes with creazy taxis to get downtown)
Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Yes, definitely!
