it's just like those 10-item-only express lanes at grocery store check-out counters. I always see idiots who attempt to check out with 20+ items at the express lanes. The worst part is that the clerks don't even care... if anyone tries to say "you're in the wrong lane".... those idiots will usually deliberately slow down and take out cash or credit cards in slow-motion.
the TSA should have an express lane for people who have no absolutely nothing that needs to be x-rayed(except for phones/PDAs/shoes)
I don't fly with any luggage these days. Not even carry-on bags. The only thing that I have is my PDA and/or phone. My company lets me ship everything else via FedEx overnight to the hotel I'm staying. I do this the night before I fly(local FedEx overnight deadline is as late as 9:45pm to continental US cities) So, my luggage/laptop always end up arriving at the hotel before I do...
