The new DL surcharge on an ex-US TATL ticket is $50 whereas for the same city pairs ex-EU, the surcharge is over $200. Now DL is saying that the $50 is what the fuel costs, so that must mean that $150 of what they charge Europeans is just extra profit, not fuel, and it therefore fraud.

i have already filed the DOJ complaint, thanks to a form posted by another FT'er. Does anyone know if there is an EU complaint form online that I can file on the discrepancy between the amounts they claim for fuel ex-EU compared to what they say is the true amount ex-US?

My employer has an intranet page for employees to post on items that may be of interest to other employees. Since we operate in over 70 countries, with a lot of international travel, and most employees keep up with ff miles, I posted there about DL's surcharge ex-EU and more recently about their surcharge ex-US. From the emails I have received thanking me for posting that, many of my co-workers who have been with DL are changing their primary carrier over this outrageous ripoff. We need to do all we can to get the word out.
