As has been pointed out, the Board Rooms have nice amenities such as the free beer and wine, usually PacNW regionals, and soup at certain parts of the day.
Although, it is good to note, that AS officially limits you to three drinks. If you have a 3 hour layover, this might not be as much as preferred.
