In defense of Caroline, we weren't there ... so we don't know how they boarded. I have seen people board in the first class call that had seats in the back (sometimes the staff doesn't care or aren't paying attention). So, I would argue that we give Caroline the benefit of the doubt.

By the way, I was "Treated royally by CO the best airlines ever... got upgraded even without asking.... pampered... boy was I missing something."

Oh wait, I haven't been upgraded this year!!! Sorry.
