For about the last year I have been really watching how I buy food. I started using Pioneer Organics, now Spud for fresh fruit and vegetable deliveries, buying local (Oregon) raised beef, chicken, lamb and pork, and I gave up HFCS, it must have taken me an extra 15 minutes in the grocery store the first couple of times reading ingredients, I was really surprised by how many things contain it and how hard it can be to find a suitable alternative product.
And I was very happy when our local Costco had the Mexican Coke, small bottles using cane sugar, it's a nice treat to have one very infrequently. If you get a chance to try Dry Soda's they are very good, cane sugar, lower calories, not too sweet.
