SO, the summer has arrived and given last years tank of an international operation, I thought we would keep "score" on this years operations. Yes, weather and all the stuff out of Tempe's supposed control can't be blamed on them but what they fail to recognize is that US is horribly prepared for flying internationally. You will see that even a broken windshield on ONE plane created international flying chaos on US for 3 days which could have been avoided with the proper equipment/flight crews. This thread is to serve as an FYI for future flyers who choose USAirways for International travel in hopes for them to book AWAY and pay a few dollars more on another airline to get them there ON TIME and without excuse. We all remember the Joe Brancatelli article: "USAirways tanks over the pond" and Dougie's roll over and play dead response: "yes, we ran a horrible operation this summer." Well let's not subject our fellow travelers to this type of operation again....

June 27th-PHL-FRA-diversion and delayed 15 hours-LACK OF AIRPLANE/CREW
June 28th- US734 PHL-MAN-CANCELLED-LACK OF AIRPLANE
June 29th-LHR-PHL delayed 3-4 hours today, LACK OF AIRPLANE
June 29th-FRA-PHL-delayed 3-4 hours today, LACK OF AIRPLANE
June 29th-CLT-LGW cancelled today because of lack of aircraft
June 29th-PHL-MAN unknown delay-presumably because of late arriving aircraft.
June 30th-MAN-PHL-delayed and arrived 3 1/2 hours-late arriving aircraft from previous days delays.

June 30th- US 9010 (ferry flight) FRA-PHL that STILL arrived 1 hour late.
