Last thing I need is someone motivated to rat-a-tat-tat type emails or IMs on their laptop on the tray table attached to my seat. Somehow I doubt it will be done quietly and w/o vibrations. It is a close parallel to a small child kicking my seat.

It will be a bunch of unnecessary noise like cell users just before the door closes and upon arrival "I'm on the plane", "We just arrived", "We're delayed", "How's the weather?". Now we'll have mass text messages of "We're over Kansas", "The movie is Harry Potter", "We're on final approach, I have to shut-down now".

Hopefully it will be overpriced and unused.

Read a book, do a puzzle, relax. Everyone needs a few minutes/hours of being non-wired.
