There are shoulder straps on the rear facing business class seats in the new configuration. For obvious reasons... just as there are shoulder straps on the rear facing FA jump seats.
Actually they are on the new UA First Class Suites, NOT in Biz... they are only required to be worn for taxi, takeoff, and landing.
And FWIW, all FA jumpseats have shoulder harnesses, not just aft-facing.
