using same fingers to enter Japan or USA, but with a different country's passport?

prior to becoming a United States citizen, I had entered Japan and was fingerprinted at passport control. after becoming a U.S. citizen, I have a U.S. passport.

but obviously I still have the same fingers.

on my upcoming trip to Japan, what will happen when I present my U.S. passport and then get fingerprinted by the Japanese passport control? I'm positive that they will see the same fingerprints but different nation's passport. is this going to be a problem?

now that I think about it, what about my parents who are dual UK/France citizensh with both passports? they have always visited the US using UK passports... what if they decided all of a sudden to use French passports to enter the US? same situation, their previous fingerprint records will show up as UK citizens, but will the officer get confused seeing French passports?
