Ended up booking my ticket online, CDG-FCO-CAI with a full day layover in Rome. Figure if AZ goes bankrupt, hopefully AF will still fly me to CAI.

Best advice is to book online, even though you get stuck with something you weren't really planning.

Anyways, already been to DXB twice so didn't mind sacrificing 10k miles and going somewhere new like CAI. Plus, might find a discount J fare to fly somewhere else for a mileage run while there. Have to look on the positive side!
