Compare this to In-N-Out, where the ownership/management's beliefs are much more influential and widely shared.

The cards were started under the management of Bruce Kennedy, who is largely responsible for creating the AS as it is today.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. If you mean that if Alaska used inspirational quotes from a variety of sources, yes, my perspective would be different.
I guess I'm trying to ask if your feelings are about the content (words) of the card, or the source. If the words were similar, but another source - say J.K. Rowling - was cited, would you feel the same way?

In other words, do you object to the card because you imply it to be Christian, or do you have a problem with the Bible as a literary text?
