It takes about 1 week to 10 days from the day your status is updated online for Gaetan/Amadeus to recognise your status. However, at the ticket counter (not the check-in counter), agents can view your status in their system and manually post it on your BPs. They did this for me in VCE a few months back when I went from Silver to Gold.
