1944(SJU-IAD) Mechanical Diversion

Sitting on the tarmac in MIA right now. We took off at 6pm EST from SJU. At approximately 8:10, the pilot came on to tell us he was turning around to MIA because one of the hydraulic systems on the plane had failed completely. Not an emergency, but had to turn around.

They went through the whole "bend over and grab your knees" for landing speech. We landed at 8:40, and the pilot shut down the engines to prevent damage, and said a tug was coming to get us. Currently, at 9:13, the first tug has apparently failed at it's job, and they are now getting a second tug.

They brought the fire engines out just to make sure we were having fun.

Methinks I'm sleeping in Miami tonight. Anybody else stuck in MIA?
