Compensation for delay caused by AF strike ?

I have searched around a bit but didn't find anything really useful to my question.

I was flying CDG-GVA yesterday with ETA 13h00. When we got to the airport a bit before noon we learned that the baggage handlers and the pushbackers had decided to have a surprise strike.

We had to spend over 5 hours in the overcrowded sauna also known as 2F (I don't have any status on FB). Nothing was done in terms of handing out vouchers for drinks and/or snacks, and the place was a mess after a couple of hours. Our plane finally left after 18h00, meaning a delay of over 5 hours.

Am I entitled to any form of compensation ? Who should I contact ? Thanks for any suggestions.
