So for that matter, I don't think CX has ever served those exotic dishes in first class (probably beside caviar) and don't think CX Chinese food offering has changed substantially in the past years. And for those that do not know, the beauty of Chinese cooking is to use the simple ingredients to make it an amazing dishes. Sometimes, its the technique counts, not just the ingredients.
Actually CX do use Abalone, although not in great quantities in F Class. Usually it is the soup or congee dish. However I did have a Abalone Chicken dish in F from SIN-HKG.
