AA settled the matter out of the goodness of its heart?

Also, deny whatever, but the line of argument about this matter asked about taking the matter through legal channels including the court ... it didn't demand an example of the court making the final ruling against the airline on the matter of FFP changes.

Some of us are wise enough to realize that the airlines will do whatever it takes to avoid a detrimental court ruling that sets precedent against the firm and even the industry in a court when it comes to the arena of unilateral FFP changes being applied retroactively to miles already acquired and even -- in this situation -- sometimes to those reedemed.
