They should sell the pacific routes to Jet Blue.
Long Beach and Oakland can handle the big jets (747s at OAK and at least MD-11s at LGB... i'm pretty sure they could handle 747s there, too).
Just imagine - leather seats, cheap walk-up fares, and Satellite TV in every seat! Of course, you'd have to bring your own meal...
