I've noticed a bit more availability of somewhat lower "Z" fares - at least on the popular SFO-LHR route. I was able to book one for under $3000 (my threshold of pain) about 6 weeks ago (although they are up about $4k now). I wonder if there is a subtle repricing strategy going on to try and fill the premium cabins with paying customers, and perhaps to reflect price competition on this route with the likes of Virgin.

My route, through Chicago, is showing the new 767 config's - hope it holds - I'd like to try it.
