Scrooge seats
in a previous post some time back on the new CX coffin seats I asked how one complies with safety instructions in J when flying with your kids. How do you fit your oxygen mask first, as directed by the safety procedure, then lean over the partition and try and fit the oxygen mask on your children ? It's incredible this type of configuration can pass safety standards. At least the divider partition window on BA J class slides down. Given the strict way the airlines look at obstructions on the cabin floor again I wonder at how this type of configuration passes safety rules relating to safe evacuation of the cabin in emergencies.
CX has penny pinched for some considerable time, the previous non flat J class beds where you ended up sliding down the slope, now these sardine seats squeezing in more seats than other airlines using the herringbone with the resultant lack of space.
What's next, bunk beds ?
