It shows that we have a long way to go before we realize that, no matter how badly one may feel about another's disabilities, there are bona fide requirements that must be met in order to enjoy certain activities and not everyone can meet them. To fly, one of the requirements is that you have to be able to stay in your seat when directed to do so by a flight attendant.
