Soneva Gili is quite nice but only for about 3 days maximum as it is a very small island. All the suites/rooms are overwater and the best ones are reached via little electric boats. It is fun at first.....
Also, Gili is quite close to Male (and right next to the lovely tuna canning factory), so you will not get the 'away from it all' feeling here, despite how they try to promote it. The bathrooms at Gili are open air also.
