As I understand it, I have to pay $200 $400 etc based on what I currently am and what I wish to be during my 90 day Trial Elite period.

In the past, you did not "enjoy" the benefits of a new status during the 90 days...but also you did not have to pay anything.

Can I still do this?

Or is there any other type of elite trial options? I have fallen to lowly silver after many years of Chairman, etc and would consider booking my summer travel on USAir if could do a trial...without this absurd fee....

Anyone help me out??
