I have 14 credits and need 2 more for a freebie. Let's say on my next trip that will get me those 2 credits to push me to 16 I rent a car and stay at a partner hotel, giving me 0.5 for the hotel and let's say 1.5 for the car (using a promo). I know I get a free ticket after the trip but does the fact that I'll get 2 RR credits for the car and hotel start the 2 yr clock over again as of that trip or is it the next time I fly on a paid ticket? In other words does the car and hotel begin the 2 yr cycle necessary to get another free ticket? Thanks.
