It's still a violation of the PayPal TOS -- one cannot use PP to give credit card cash advances to themselves, even if it's between two separate PayPal accounts, because the beneficial owner of both accounts is the same.

It's not so much the closing down the account that is the issue, so much as the fact that PayPal likes to freeze accounts (and the corresponding funds within said accounts) while they investigate such activity. The cost of interest that would be paid to the credit card company while you wait for funds to be released would be, indeed, greater than zero.

A cursory read of the linked threads (as well as some of the anti-PayPal sites, such as paypal-sucks.com), might be more beneficial to giving you some more idea about this than simply providing dismissive remarks of those offering feedback of the idea.
