If you think CO is expensive to bring the pet in the cabin...it's even more expensive to have him/her in the cargo hold.
A few months ago, my dad had to put my 20lb dog in the cargo hold and his ticket was more than my dad's ticket!

My sister would beg to differ with this statement. She paid to bring her little pouch onboard COEX operated by Expressjet and there was an issue with the FA who said that the little doggie carrier was too big to fit underneath the seat. Well it was a normal plane dog carrier that met CO specs. Well it did fit under the seat. However, my sister vows never to fly CO again after that incident with the FA. (I will admit that my sister though is not much of a traveler though...she is easily rattled.)
