Of course it is. But is that really what's happened here? Look again... People have simply pointed out reasons why your idea probably wouldn't work out in practice or expressed the opinion that it wouldn't be brilliant value if it did.
Indeed. Clever ideas are welcome. This one, though, isn't really that clever as there are better ways to do what you want, and far better ways to spend the money- ways that will yield considerably more benefits. How does that make it clever?
