Inter-Continental San Francisco

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?Yes, extremely thus far. Currently in the Club Lounge writing this.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Hotel is sold out but used RA guaranteed availability and booked Standard room at $279. A few days later, showed Jr. Suite on-line, and at check-in upgraded to a 1 BR suite with Club access.

How are the rooms?
The suite is very nice at the end of the hallway -- with a stunning views on two sides. Comfortable living room with 4 person table, large sitting area with flat panel tv. 1 mini-bar for the suite.
Bedroom has king bedroom and large marble bath with separate stall shower and bath tub. Surprisingly, in a good way, bath amenities are Floris and appear bespoke.
Nice soothing colour palate of neutral tones. Very nice suite though I think their regular rates of $1050 a night is a bit steep. For us, a fantastic deal though.

How is the exec. lounge?
Just enjoyed afternoon tea and will return for the evening spread. The evening spread consisted of mushroom puffs and deep fried crab claws along with huge jumbo shrimp, crudites, cold cuts, smoked salmon, seared ahi tuna and the other usual lounge items. Luis, the Club "butler" prepared a limited selection of cocktails -- the Cosmopolitan was really good!!

What was good and what was bad?
Good: The staff were virtually all very friendly and helpful. Most were VERY proud to be working there and it showed.
Received 20% off spa treatment coupon which we used at the Spa for excellent massages.
Car service was available and took us to the Mark Hopkins.
All in all, an excellent stay and nothing bad to report.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Fantastic value.

Would you return?
So far, yes, definitely.
