The one time I was actually able to get the TA miles into UA MP was by chance when a TA GA just happen to give me a printout of my itinerary on TA card stock (ticket type stock) I kept all my boarding passes and mailed them in along with the card stock thingy and the miles showed up. My partner who was on the same trip with me but on a different itinerary just mailed in the TA produced itinerary/confirmation e-mail from the TA web site and his boarding passes - no luck, MP denied him.

I really don't care for TACA, if you do a search I am sure you will see a few posts of me flaming them. Unfortunately, they are the most direct way from SFO to MGA, so I deal. On the phone, ground, web site and airport they bite however in the air they are fine, save the lack of "vino tinto" which is a first for me on any airline
