For you information I now know and have it first hand EVA and CI are declaring war on US flights for luggage both checked in and carry on. They say they have let it be for so long people assume the can blag their way on board, seems the Ryanair tactics will come into play very fast. They feel US passengers seem to think they are excempt for weight limits and will start here first and also focus on key European routes as well. I got this from the horses mouth as they say.
