in my mind anyway - let me explain. I was told that i shoud dspend $20000 in may and june to get 18000 miles. Foolishly i failed to read the t&c's.
I just rang them to see how i was gettin on - and i have spent $40000 ($20k in each month) so i thought , great. NO

They have to be physical transactions i.e. you can not order anything from the internet or mail order; not even flights from CX. Nor Dell who i ordered a load of things from. IT MUST BE IN A SHOP
This is just stupid - they quoted me no.4 of the terms and said they consider that acceptable.
I am furious with them - just wanted to warn anyone else out there who might get disappointed. What galls me more is that i could have collected double miles from Citi in June!!!! I will be cancelling my card and returning to the Citi fold.
