Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes except the lounge is closed on weekends.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?Booked standard room and was upgraded to Club floor room

How are the rooms?
The club floor rooms are very spacious and we had a room looking north toward Mount Royal and the parkette below. Rooms are ever so slightly tired but well kept.

How is the exec. lounge?
Closed on weekends

What was good and what was bad?
Good:
-minibar was well stocked although I'm not sure if amenities there were free as we didn't touch anything in it. They gave us unlimited free drink coupons to use in the main lounge.
-Hotel location in old Montreal is great. area is still developing with a W hotel down the street and new Westin and Embassy suites Hotels under construction just on east side of of IC. This will further enhance area in general.
Bad
- suite upgrade "not possible" was their response when asked.
- buffet breakfast (free) was nothing to write home about. Just basics and with chit for free breakfast was strictly limited to buffet items.
- Charging $15CDN for internet usage is highway robbery.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Used free Weekend coupon and therefore was good value at $188 CDN per night.

Would you return?
Yes definitely as the dining in and around the area is wonderful and the proximatey to central shopping and business areas is good. Hotel has the right ambience.
