Went with the Torrance Marriott, thanks to all for your feedback. Colleague in Carson will pick me up at the airport, take me back to hotel when we're done. Super Shuttle in the morning back to LAX, $20 including tip.^

Looks like I'm set. I'll post feedback on the place when I get back.
